Denver University Spring 2008

We had the opportunity to go to DU to watch a College Lacrosse Game. The boys had the opportunity to practice with the DU players on the field before the game. They got to tour the locker room and meet the players. They all had a great time. This is a picture of Kolby listening to the DU Head Coach during question and answer session.

While at a lacrosse practice for Kolby, Jake decieded he wanted me to take some "model" photos of him. He was so funny, but the pictures turned out so good.

This little guy has been hanging around the neighborhood. We caught him running up the street and through the park by our house. He didnt stick around long when I started chasing him for pictures though. (Camera shy!)

Our Goalie!

Kolby has been with his team The Aurora Raiders for 1 year. Last spring season they went 12-2. This spring season they were 7 games which they went 7-0. The Evergreen Tournament they took 1st place for their division. The Steamboat Tournament they took 1st place for their division. (Both Tournaments had 4 games). This past weekend they participated in the 14th annual Rocky Mountain Jamboree in Arvada (the 5th largest lacrosse tournament in the US) taking 1st place in the 7th grade boys division 2 tournament. What an accomplishment!!! Kolby has had 108 saves in the 19 games for this season with 42 goals scored on them. Now we can rest!!

Another Addition...

Yes! More puppies! I just fell in love with these little ones. We named them Merlin and Madaline (maggie). Not sure if Maggie is gonna stick around or not. (She is alittle wild!)

New Addition to the Family

This is lil' Luke. He was born on October 15, 2006. We brought him home on Wednesday, December 20, 2006. He is really a good baby. Lil' Luke absolutley loves the snow. Since yesterday morning we have recieved 33". We have been shoveling for hours, and we are still not out of the driveway. Lil' Luke played outside today for hours. More pictures to follow:

Colorado Springs Karate Tournament

The boys had a tournament in Colorado Springs today. They had alot of fun. Here are the stats of this one: Jake won a Bronze metal, a 4th place trophy, a 3rd place trophy and a 1st place trophy. Kolby won 1 1st place and 2 second place trophys. They did great! We are very proud of them!

Fall 2006 Karate Tournament-Lakewood

WOW!!! These boys did great! They participated in 4 events. Fastest punch, fastest kick, strongest kick and strongest punch. Jake recieved 2nd place in all 4 events and Kolby recieved 1st place in strongest punch, 1st place in fastest punch, 3rd place in both strongestest kick and fastest kick. (they have a trade up system with points value so kolby traded his two 3rd places for 1 2nd place). We are so proud of them!!!
